Markam Architects is a chartered architectural and interior design practice established in Chelsea in 1991 by architects Marwan Jamal (RIBA) and Kamal Milki, specialising in the high-quality refurbishment of houses, flats, and commercial properties.

The practice offers in-depth expertise in all aspects of building design and refurbishment, ranging from overall design and construction to the more specific requirements of client representation, project management, dealing with local authorities, pricing, planning, technical building works and services, site follow up, and inspection.

The practice's portfolio includes over one hundred successfully completed residential and commercial projects of varying budgets. Most of our projects are in central London, and a substantial portion of our work is for repeat clients or sourced through our existing clients' recommendations. Our clients have varied tastes – contemporary, modern, traditional, eclectic, minimalist, theatrical – and with each project, our task is to fulfil our client's requirements with creativity and uniqueness while taking into consideration the building, legal, planning, and budgetary constraints.
